Cold raking fingers flash down my spine, the icy tendrils of feeling course through my deadened flesh.
do i live once more? is this ragged breathing mine?
the monochrome, glassy walls surround me in a surreal splendor, the cracks and shards in the looking glass making it impossible for my heavy eyes to discern my own reflection.

i slide my unfamiliar body across the gritty stone, those pale long appendages--are they even fingers?--drag me to the lighted circle of hope on the floor. i cast my eyes upon the ragged hole in the heavens above me, for the ceiling nor roof existed in this labyrinth of icy glass and colorless doom.
within the gap there are laughing, mocking gods--or are they naught but creatures, animals pretending to be gods?--all of which are adorned with cruel needles to riddle my deadened flesh. am i being animated?

piercing again.
the gray hand with the eight needles pinches my neck with his forefinger and thumb, each needle finding a sore area in which to nestle it's prick. ahh, the sweet agony that rushes down my spinal cord into every vibrating nerve in my zombie flesh.


this...is pretty much the dream i had while sleeping so comfortably on Allison's recliner this morning.
i woke up kind of abruptly, so the dream ends in a shitty-cliffhanger-y way.
fuck.
....maybe i shouldn't watch emo-crack horror/fantasy movies before crashing for two hours and then continuing my day.
